How Royal Arena works — what is free, how your games get analysed, and what the AI coach does with them. If something is missing, ask us.
- Is Royal Arena free to use?
- Yes — a free account covers your recent events, player search, official Power Rankings, prize earnings and two analysed replays so you can see the deep stats, and one AI coach question every month. Platinum (9.99€/month) adds every game of the last 30 days, the full archive, personal heatmaps and 12 coach questions a month. Nothing is pay-to-see on the public pages: player profiles, tournament results and rankings are free to read without signing in at all.
- How do I get my Fortnite games analysed?
- Link your Epic account and Royal Arena finds your official tournament games itself — there is nothing to install and no file to hunt for. Epic keeps server replays for 30 days, so recent events are the ones that can still be read; once a game is parsed, its analysis is kept permanently. If you want to analyse a game outside that pipeline, you can also upload a .replay file directly from your dashboard.
- Is there an AI coach for Fortnite?
- Yes. Royal Arena's coach reads your own parsed games phase by phase and compares every decision — where you were relative to the zone, whether you had height, how much material you spent, when you rotated — against players in your division and against Division 1, over 25.4 million measured situations. It then tells you which two moments cost the most points and what to change. Details at royal-arena.net/ai-coach.
- How is that different from asking ChatGPT about Fortnite?
- A general assistant has never seen your game, so it can only repeat community advice — and some of that advice is measurably wrong. Royal Arena answers from your specific replay. Every number it cites is computed before the model is called and passed to it with the sample size of the players you are being compared against, so it cannot invent a statistic; the model writes the answer, it does not do the arithmetic.
- Where do I find my Fortnite replay files?
- You usually do not need them: tournament games are fetched automatically once your Epic account is linked. If you do want to upload one manually, Fortnite stores replays locally — on Windows at C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\FortniteGame\Saved\Demos — and recording must be enabled in the game's Replays settings.
- How is Royal Arena different from Fortnite Tracker?
- Fortnite Tracker shows aggregated career statistics pulled from Epic's API — overall K/D, win rate, match history. Royal Arena parses the actual replay of a specific match: exact kill locations, weapon-by-weapon breakdowns, zone progression, drop locations, rotations and a full event timeline — and then coaches from it against measured cohorts. It is a tactical analysis tool rather than a career stats aggregator.
- Can I use Royal Arena for competitive analysis?
- That is what it is built for. Tournament matches, scrims and ranked games can all be reviewed for rotations, drop spots and zone positioning, with field benchmarks showing how you compare to the rest of the lobby. Organisations get a private space for their roster with per-player breakdowns, shared notes and team replay maps.
- Do I need an account?
- To read public data, no — player profiles, tournament results, Power Rankings and prize earnings are all open. To have your own games parsed and coached you need a free account with an Epic account linked, since that is how we know which games are yours.
- How accurate is the replay data?
- It is extracted directly from Fortnite's own replay files, so it is as accurate as the game records it. Kill positions, weapons, zone circles and player movement all come from the raw data — nothing is estimated. The coaching layer on top adds no estimates either: comparisons are counted over measured situations and always carry their sample size.
- Can I analyse my teammates' games?
- Tournament games are fetched for the Epic accounts you have linked, so your own games come in automatically — Platinum covers two linked accounts and Platinum+ four. Beyond that, a teammate's .replay file can be uploaded from your dashboard, and organisations can review any rostered player's games in their team space.
