- What is Fortnite AI coaching on Royal Arena?
- Royal Arena parses your own tournament replays into one row per zone phase — where you were, what you did, what it cost — and compares each decision against players in your division and against Division 1 over 25.4 million measured situations. The AI writes the answer; it never computes the numbers, so it cannot invent a statistic.
- How is this different from asking ChatGPT for Fortnite advice?
- A general assistant has never seen your game. It can only repeat community folklore, and some of that folklore is measurably wrong. Royal Arena answers from your specific replay: the phase you died in, how far outside the zone you were, how many materials you spent, and what players in your exact situation actually did.
- Does the AI make up statistics?
- No, by construction. Every number is computed before the model is called and handed to it with the cohort sample size. The model's job is to choose which two moments cost the most and write them in a coach's words. It has no arithmetic to do and no room to invent one.
- Which games can be analysed?
- Any official tournament game whose replay we still hold. Epic keeps server replays for 30 days, so recent events are the ones that can still be read — but once a replay is parsed, the analysis is kept permanently.
- Do I need to upload anything?
- No. Link your Epic account and Royal Arena fetches your tournament replays itself. There is no file to find and nothing to install.
- Can I try the AI coach for free?
- Yes. Any free account with an Epic account linked gets one coach question a month, asked about one of its own parsed tournament games — the same answer a subscriber gets, on your own replay rather than a demo. Platinum includes 12 questions a month and Platinum+ 35.
- Does it work for Division 5 players, or only pros?
- Both, and they get different answers. Below Division 1 every phase is compared twice: against your own division, which is what is achievable for you now, and against Division 1 and the Majors, which is the ceiling. Winning a Division 5 lobby does not make a habit correct — it means it beat other Division 5 players, and the coach says so when the two disagree.
