Questions
Fortnite sprites, answered
- How many sprites are in Fortnite right now?
- 27 sprites in game version 42.40, with 162 looks between them. 26 of them can come from the general sprite pool; Crown Sprite does not.
- What is the rarest Fortnite sprite?
- In the general pool, the rarest is Klombo Sprite (0.0103%), then Mega Man Sprite (0.9697%) of the sprites you find; the most common is Honey Sprite at 5.131%.
- What are the odds of a Gold sprite or another special look?
- Out of every sprite found in the general pool: Loot Hacker 13.864%, Cheat Master 9.903%, Gold 9.903%, Bounty Hunter 5.942%, Trick or Treat 5.942%. The rest are the base look. Each sprite's own odds are in the table on royal-arena.net/sprites.
- How do Fortnite sprite drop rates work?
- Two things are rolled: which sprite you get, then which look it wears. Rarity sets how big a slice of the pool a whole tier gets, not how rare a single sprite is, so a sprite of a higher rarity can turn up more often than a lower one. Since Chapter 7 Season 4 some looks, such as Loot Hacker, are named directly by the loot pool instead of rolled afterwards.
- Where do these sprite drop rates come from?
- They are read from Fortnite's game files (version 42.40) with Epic's live hotfix applied, and refreshed when the game updates — not estimated from player reports.
